Privacy Policy
Last updated October 31, 2026
Readout is a marketing reporting service operated by Global Group One Inc. (“Global Group One”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains what we collect, how we use it and the choices you have. It covers the Readout pages at globalgroupone.com/readout/ and the Readout app at readout.globalgroupone.com.
The short version
- Readout only reads the marketing accounts you connect. It can’t change ads, budgets, posts or listings
- We use that data only to build and show your reports
- We never sell your data, use it for advertising or use it to train AI models
- You can disconnect an account or delete everything at any time
Information You Give Us
When you create an account we collect your name, email address, business name and sign-in details. If you invite others to view reports we collect their names and email addresses. If you contact support we keep the messages you send.
Payments are handled by PayPal. We receive your subscription status, plan and billing dates and never receive or store card or bank details.
Information From Accounts You Connect
You connect each account through that platform’s own sign-in and approve the permissions shown. We never see your passwords for those platforms. We receive the name and email address of the person who connects the account, an access token for each connection and the data below. You choose which ad accounts, campaigns, properties, sites, Pages and locations go into each report, and we only collect data for what you select.
| Account | Permission requested | What Readout reads |
|---|---|---|
| Google Ads | adwords | Account and campaign names, spend, impressions, clicks, conversions, calls and cost per result |
| Google Analytics | analytics.readonly | Property names, visits, traffic sources, top pages, engagement and conversion counts |
| Google Search Console | webmasters.readonly | Site names, search queries, clicks, impressions and average position |
| Google Business Profile | business.manage | Location names and addresses, listing views, calls, direction requests, website clicks, review counts, star ratings and review text. Readout never edits a listing or posts a reply |
| Facebook and Instagram | ads_read, read_insights, pages_show_list, pages_read_engagement, instagram_basic, instagram_manage_insights, business_management | Ad account and campaign names, spend and results, Page and Instagram account names, followers, reach, engagement and post performance |
r_ads, r_ads_reporting, r_organization_social, rw_organization_admin | Ad account and campaign names, spend and results, Company Page followers, page views and post performance. LinkedIn requires the admin permission to read Page statistics and Readout uses it read-only | |
| TikTok | Ad account management (read), reporting, TikTok accounts | Ad account and campaign names, spend and results, business account followers, profile views, video views and post performance |
We don’t request permission to create or edit ads, publish posts, send messages or manage users on any platform.
Information Collected Automatically
Like most websites, we log technical details when you use Readout, such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed and the time of each request. We use these logs to keep the service secure and fix problems, and delete them after 30 days.
How We Use Information
- To build, schedule, send and display your reports and dashboard
- To run your account, process your subscription and send account emails such as receipts and report links
- To answer support requests you send us
- To keep Readout secure, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations
We don’t use information from connected accounts for advertising, for building profiles of people or for anything other than providing Readout to you. We don’t combine one customer’s platform data with another’s.
How Summaries Are Written
Each report starts with a short summary in plain English. To write it we send that report’s numbers and the names of its campaigns, pages and locations to Anthropic’s Claude API. Anthropic processes it only to return the summary and does not use it to train its models. We never use your data, or any data received from a platform API, to develop, improve or train AI or machine learning models.
Google User Data
Readout’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In particular:
- Data from Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Search Console and Google Business Profile is used only to provide the reporting features you can see in Readout
- It is not transferred to others except as needed to provide those features (such as the providers listed under Sharing), to comply with law or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets with notice to you
- It is not used or transferred for advertising, sold, or used to determine creditworthiness or for lending
- People at Global Group One don’t read it unless you ask us to for support, it’s needed for security or to comply with law, or it has been aggregated and anonymized for internal operations
Meta, LinkedIn and TikTok Data
Data from Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok is used only to show you and the people you share reports with how your accounts performed. We follow each platform’s developer terms and policies, keep the data only as long as described below and delete it when you disconnect the account or ask us to. We don’t sell it or share it with data brokers, ad networks or anyone else for their own use.
Sharing
Reports are visible to you and to the people you choose to share them with. If you use Readout as an agency, the clients you invite see only their own reports. We share information with these service providers, who process it only on our instructions:
- Cloudflare for hosting, database and file storage in the United States
- PayPal for subscription payments
- Resend for sending report and account emails
- Anthropic for writing the plain-language summary in each report
- Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics for measuring visits to these marketing pages only, never inside the app
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect the rights and safety of our users or others, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case this policy continues to apply.
Security
All traffic to Readout is encrypted in transit. Access tokens for connected accounts are encrypted at rest and only the systems that build reports can use them. Access to production systems is limited to the people who need it to run the service.
How Long We Keep Data
- Account and report data while your account is open
- When you disconnect an account we delete its access token immediately and its stored data within 30 days. Past reports keep their numbers unless you delete them
- After you close your account we delete your connected account data and reports within 30 days and keep billing records only as long as tax law requires
- Technical logs for 30 days
Your Choices and Rights
You can view, download and delete your reports, disconnect any account and close your account from your Readout settings. You can also remove Readout’s access from the platform itself:
- Google: myaccount.google.com/permissions, choose Readout, then Delete all connections
- Facebook and Instagram: Facebook Settings & privacy > Settings > Business integrations, choose Readout, then Remove
- LinkedIn: linkedin.com/psettings/permitted-services, then remove Readout Ads and Readout Pages
- TikTok: in TikTok Business Center open Business settings > Authorizations, or Manage apps in the TikTok app for a business account, and remove Readout
Depending on where you live, including California and other US states, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy, to correct it and to have it deleted. We don’t sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we won’t treat you differently for using these rights. To make a request, contact us below. Data Deletion has step-by-step instructions.
Cookies
The app uses a cookie to keep you signed in. These marketing pages use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics cookies to understand how visitors find and use them. You can block cookies in your browser settings, though you’ll then need to sign in to the app each time.
Children
Readout is a business service for people 18 and older. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.
Where Data Is Stored
Readout is run from the United States and data is stored and processed there.

If we change this policy we’ll update the date at the top. For significant changes we’ll also email account owners before they take effect.
