Russian company Eidos Medicine that manufacturers medical simulators will invest in Pakistan by establishing simulation centers throughout the province of Punjab. In a meeting held at Lahore’s Fatima Jinnah Medical University, Global Group One discussed the use and benefits of simulation technology in healthcare sector with city’s top surgeons. The project led by Global Group One was welcomed by the medical professionals representing government of Punjab. Simulators will be used in government hospitals for the first time, transforming the medical sector of the country. Simulation centers will be established as well for training and education purposes. The meeting was attended by the Vice Chancellor of Fatima Jinnah Medical University Prof. Khalid Masood Gondal, Principal of Services Institute of Medical Sciences Prof. Mahmood Ayyaz, Principal of Amiruddin Medical College among notable figures. Global Group Ones delegation was led by Marketing Director Yawar Syed. Representatives of Eidos Medicine also participated from Kazan via video link.
